I like to paint with bright colours and strong contrasts to stimulate the eye. I may even incorporate some symbology and a certain degree of abstract play to awaken the imagination. I love to paint about what matters, our essential connection to the natural world and the elements that make us individually or as a society who we truly are. Working with acrylic and experimenting with texture and mixed media I always attempt to obtain the mesmerizing effect of the light dancing on the surface.
